SBI-cardless-yono-cash-ATM

India’s largest bank State Bank of India has recently introduced the facility of cardless cash withdrawal through their ATM without debit card.

Currently, the cash withdrawal service is available across 16,500 SBI ATMs. The ATMs which will provide you with this facility will be termed as YONO cash points.

The minimum requirement for availing this service is to have an active SBI Net banking account to make such transactions possible.

Here are the basic steps which can help you withdraw cash through the SBI YONO website.

Step 1

Visit the SBI YONO website https://www.sbiyono.sbi/. Click on ‘Login’.

Step 2

Enter your Net banking user ID and password — make sure you have an active personal internet banking account. Once you have entered the active user ID and password, click on login again.

Step 3

Now, you can view the SBI YONO dashboard where you can check your complete account details and can do other e-banking related activities.

For cardless cash withdrawals through this website, you need to further scroll down the website to the bottom and under the ‘my rewards’ section. Here you will find 5 options – YONO Pay, YONO Cash, Bill Pay, Products, Shop, Book & Order.

Click on the YONO Cash tab and proceed further.

Step 4

This step will guide you on how much cash you can withdraw per transaction per day.

Net banking users can withdraw a minimum of Rs 500 and maximum of Rs 10,000 in a single transaction.

However, in a particular day, you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 20,000 from an SBI ATM via the YONO website.

Click on ‘Request YONO Cash’.

Step 5

Under the ‘request YONO cash’, you can view the balance amount in your savings account. Below the balance amount tab, enter the amount you want to withdraw from the ATM and click on ‘Next’.

Step 6

Initiate the cash withdrawal process through the YONO website by entering a six-digit YONO cash pin for the transaction.

What is YONO cash pin ?

The service consists of two-factor authentication:

Six-digit cash pin for the transaction, which you have to create on the website.

Secondly, you will receive a six-digit reference number on your mobile through an SMS.

A simple feature phone can also help you conduct this transaction. You have to enter this reference number at the nearest SBI ATM within the time limit of 30 minutes to complete the cardless cash withdrawal.

Once the process is done successfully, the ATM will dispense the cash as required.
