How to make payment using UPI in Singapore ?
Simply launch the UPI based phone app, select the scan QR at store and make payment.
- On SQQR based terminal , auto conversion of INR to SGD. The BHIM app will automatically convert the SGD amount to INR. Just check the acknowledgment box and click ‘Pay’ to proceed with payment.
- Dynamic NETS QR, the users will able to check the balance both in INR & SGD before payment. Check the acknowledhe BHIM app will prompt the consumer to key-in their UPI PIN to complete the transaction.
As of today, cardholders with RuPay cards issued by the following participating banks have been enabled for Singapore payments.
- YES bank
- Union Bank of India (UBI)
- State Bank of India (SBI)
- Bank of India (BOI)
- Punjab National Bank (PNB)
What charges apply for RuPay acceptance?
A transaction fee of 1.8% will apply for each RuPay transaction.

Customers will be informed to look for the RuPay and BHIM acceptance decal at store.
