Post 28th September 2018, Debit Cards of Syndicate Bank may not work. As per the recent communication which is being sent from to customers via SMS/EMAIL, bank has issued an advisory and request to change Debit Card PIN on or before 28.09.2018.
Syndicate Bank has implemented Mandatory Periodic PIN Change for Debit Cards, as per the guidelines from CERT-in, Government of India.
As per the guidelines issued to customers, Debit Card holders of banks are required to change the PIN every 90 days to mitigate the risk of fraudulent transactions. This is made to enhance card transaction security.
