Among first in all Banks in India, Public Sector Bank “Syndicate Bank” has implemented Mandatory Periodic PIN Change for Debit Cards. Syndicate Bank has issued the statement and started sending SMS/Email to all the customers. Banks has also stated that this was followed as per the guidelines from CERT-in, Government of India.

As per the guidelines, Debit Card holders are required to change the PIN every 90 days to mitigate the risk of fraudulent transactions and to enhance card transaction security.

The mandatory PIN Change period will be completing 90 days on 28.09.2018. To avoid any inconvenience, we request you to change your Debit Card PIN on or before 28.09.2018.
