Popular messaging platform Whatsapp, Facebook, Google , Amazon and Uber are sooner launching the UPI payment system through its platform. National Payment Corporation of India (NCPI) has already permitted the Facebook-owned WhatsApp to incorporate mobile payment service within the app using Unified Payment Interface (UPI). Whatsapp already in talk with State Bank of India (SBI), Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Punjab National Bank and more other bank to speed up the process of integrating person-to-person (P2P) payment service on the app.

Google is also launching their own UPI mobile wallet app Android Pay and is now waiting for an approval from the RBI. The upcoming Android Pay apps will integrate with existing UPI system for payment.

Amazon and Uber are the other big players in the digital space who are ready to start the UPI payment mode. Uber will launch UPI in a few weeks where payment will be made through BHIM. Ola has already integrated the UPI payment option in their apps. Facebook and other players are also eager to enter to the market as they are having huge customer case.
