SBI ‘Work from Home Scheme’ for Government Bankers

Is not it unbelievable ? Government Bank is asking their employees to work from home especially India largest Bank State Bank of India.

India’s largest lender State Bank of India today launched a new facility to enable its employees to work from home although in few specialized areas. Bank believe that introduction of Work From Home Facilities will boost the employee productivity by many folds.

Meeting of Board of the SBI bank has approved the ‘Work from Home‘ policy under which any of the SBI employees under the specialized work areas to enable work while at home using mobile devices.

This is as like employees is on leave and required their presence for any important assignment. In real sense this will not be work at home rather “No leave at Job“.

Bank has decided to use mobile computing technologies and shall be having centrally enabled  secured connectivity to enable devices centrally to manage and secure the data and applications on the mobile devices.

There will be secured technology and services, which will be monitored through carefully designed MIS and dashboard to enable improvements and refinements.

The various department which will be having the Work from Home facilities are cross-selling Department, marketing, CRM, social media management, settlement & reconciliation, complaints management applications.
