Bank-Fraud

Phishing is now a common terminology for banking sector and fraudsters are doing  anything to gain access to customer personal and financial information, like asking for their User ID, Password, OTP, Grid Values etc. This is then used to access bank account and do unauthorized transactions.

The level of cyber fraud is now reached at higher level and fraudsters try new techniques to fool people. A new approach which were caught recently, where the are sending letter impersonating as banks’ official letter for collecting details. Sample of once of such letter is 

Bank-fraud-ICICI-BankRemember that ICICI Bank or any other banks will never ask for any account, internet Banking and card details like Account number, Date of Birth, User ID, Password, Grid card values at the back of debit card, Card number, Expiry Date, CVV code, ATM PIN etc
